I went in shortly after it opened and was amazed to see it in use. I was told that because of its historical nature, they had decided to keep it. In that part of the Bristol I would head for the Watershed Cafe and drink the 3 Arbor Ales beers on offer - there might also be a good film on and the food is pretty good too.
